Math should be a challenge, not a source of anxiety. I founded Cary Preparatory to help students build confidence, develop a strong math mindset, and overcome the fear that so often holds them back. Too many students believe they’re “just bad at math,” but I know that with the right approach, every student can succeed.
As a certified middle school math teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how engaging, problem-based learning can transform the way students think about math. I started Cary Preparatory to create a space where students can strengthen their critical thinking skills, collaborate with peers, and tackle rich, engaging math tasks. My goal is to help students shift their mindset, embrace problem-solving, and see math in a whole new way.
